Renewable EnergyBecause the nation’s demand for power is at an all-time high, renewable energy must be utilized in order to meet tomorrow’s power needs. Industries, academia, national labs and the federal government turn to ORNL’s Cooling, Heating and Power Technologies Program Team for testing and development of renewable energy.CHP’s capabilities extend from the initial testing and analysis phase all the way through to end-use systems integration. We work to confirm the viability of the various energy sources and develop systems to efficiently convert them into usable power.
